The 1st Lady Of Racing Has Died

Louise Smith, 89, the 1st woman in the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in '99, & was "the first lady of racing," on the NASCAR circuit from 1945-56. Known for her fearless style, she won 38 modified events. Smith had battled cancer & been in hospice care.
