The Az Game & Fish Dept will be conducting an instructor’s training class in Globe at the Gila Co. Courthouse, 1400 E Ash St, June 29th - July 1st. Class size is limited to 25. Both men & women are encouraged to participate. Pre-registration's required.

The Instructor Course is a 20-hour course that is taught over the span of a weekend. Potential instructors undergo a background check, & are then taught “how to teach.” This class includes use of the AZG&F Hunters Ed manual, & other classroom materials. They are instructed in the art of lesson planning, & classroom management. New instructors are then blended into the existing system of chief/lead instructors, & their teams. To remain an instructor, you must complete at least 8 hours of training every 3 years, & participate in at least 1 class every 2 years.
