"Music In The Park"
The Friends of Oracle State Park will host the 3rd annual "Music In The Park" spring music concert series. The concerts take place on the last Sunday of the month from March through May at Oracle State Park.
On Sunday, March 25th, Jim Pipkin will perform what has been described as "western campfire stories set to music, ghosts, gunfights, lost mines & hidden treasure delivered in the traditional Sandhills Ballad style."
On April 29th, The Original Wildcat Jass Band will perform traditional New Orleans & Chicago jazz & popular music of the 1920s including hits by Louis Armstrong & Jelly Roll Morton.
Both concerts will be performed as an outdoor show on the upper patio of the Kannally Ranch House from 2 - 4 p.m. Individual tickets for the March & April concerts are on sale for $12 per person, including the park entrance fee.
The last concert of the series on Sunday, May 27th, from 6 - 8 p.m. will be an evening sunset concert on the upper patio of the Kannally Ranch House. The artist is to be announced. This concert will be free & regular park fees will be waived.
