W2i Digital Cities Convention

The W2i Digital Cities Convention, co-hosted by the City of Tempe & the Wireless Internet Institute (W2i), will be held February 13-14 at the Mission Palms Hotel. Tempe Deputy CIO Dave Heck will lead the discussion on deploying wireless infrastructures for better-managed cities, economic development & more inclusive communities.

Just this month, a contract was approved by the Town of Superior to begin the build-out of a wireless network for connection to the Internet over the community of Superior. It was the culmination of almost a year's work and the partnership of many public and private entities including the Town of Superior and the Arizona Dept. of Commerce.
