Bisbee Annual Art Auction
Visitors can enjoy a weekend filled with artistic talent & visual pleasure at Bisbee's 14th Annual Bisbee Art Auction, March 3rd. The auction features many nationally known artists from southern Az & around the state. Long known for its mineral wealth, today Bisbee is rich in artistic wealth, as well.
A lively art auction will showcase this wealth throughout the weekend. The Bisbee Arts Commission (BAC) sponsors the auction & invites art lovers to meander through town & enjoy the shops of Historic Bisbee. Saturday night's auction will be held in the Presbyterian Annex, 24 Howell Ave., located in between the Copper Queen Hotel & the YWCA. Bidders will vie for works created by nationally known & up-and-coming artists.
As in the past, the auction will be presented gallery style. During this event, the BAC will display an auction catalog along with an Artists' Registry. The Final Hanging along with the First Preview of Art Work will be held, March 2nd, from 11 am - 8 pm, & a Final Preview, March 3rd, from 10 pm - 4 pm. On Sat., the auction commences at 7 pm.
