Gila Community College Poetry Forum

The Gila Community College will be hosting a Poetry Forum at the Gila Pueblo Campus on Sat., Jan. 20th, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Room 522. The forum's offered as an opportunity for poets to share their work with others.

The mission of the GCC Poetry Forum is to demonstrate the relevance & centrality of poetry to the general public through the oral presentation of poetry. The purpose is to also introduce & develop an appreciation of poetry in elementary, junior & senior high school students.

Mr. Tom Neely is coordinating the event with the college. All poets are welcome to take the stage. This effort is to establish performing arts at Gila Community College. It will be an evening of expression & an opportunity to meet friends & neighbors who appreciate poetry.
