Free Recycling Throughout 2007 In Pinal County
The Pinal Co. Board of Supervisors would like to encourage residents to take advantage of free recycling throughout 2007. Pinal Co. has 30 bins stationed across the area to collect everything from plastic bottles to newspapers. Throughout the U.S., recycling has grown tremendously since 1990 with 50% of all paper, 34% of all plastic soft drink bottles, 45% of all aluminum beer & soft drink cans, 63% of all steel packaging, & 67% of all major appliances are now recycled.
Recycling in Pinal County is easy, effective & convenient for all.
Recyclables Accepted:
* Plastic bottles - #1 & #2 plastic bottles & jugs rinsed out, no caps please.
* Newspaper & Magazines - Newspapers & all inserts, Magazines, Catalogs, Phone Books.
* Cardboard & Paperboard - Corrugated cardboard (3 ply) broken down & flattened, paperboard/chipboard (soda & beer cartons) flattened & brown paper bags.
* Aluminum & Tin Cans - Aluminum or tin cans washed & rinsed out, no lids please.
In an effort to keep our recycling bins clean & odor free - Please rinse all milk jugs, aluminum & tin cans if possible.
