“America's Most Digital Cities”

“America's Most Digital Cities,” is an annual list of the top 10 municipal governments for advanced use of electronic media, ranks the City of Tucson 3rd among metropolitan areas larger than 250,000 population.

The annual list is compiled by the Center for Digital Government, a national research & advisory institute for state & local government information technology, operated by eRepublic Inc., an online publishing & research firm, based in Folsom, Calif. The only 2 cities to rank ahead of Tucson were Corpus Christi, Texas, & Tampa, Fla. Two other Arizona cities made the list: Mesa, which tied for 9th with Washington, D.C., & Phoenix, which tied for 10th with Riverside, Calif. The entire report is online at centerdigitalgov.com.
