Rock Slide Project On SR 288

ADOT will start work tomorrow in the removal of a hazardous rock slide area along State Route 288 south of the Salt River Bridge near Roosevelt Lake. Crews will work from sunrise to sunset, Mon. - Fri., until Dec. 31st. Crews will work this Saturday to ensure the project is completed by the end of the year.

Traffic delays of up to 30 minutes are anticipated. Longer delays are possible depending on the amount of rock & other material that has to be removed during each step of the operation. Drivers are advised to comply with traffic control signs & to be prepared to stop in advance of the project. Updated info is available from the Roosevelt Maintenance Office, 928-467-2282.
