Permanent Cochise Co. Superior Court Judge Picked
Gov. Napolitano has named Bisbee attorney & Judge Pro Tempore James Conlogue to serve as a permanent judge on the Cochise Co. Superior Court. Conlogue, a native Arizonan, has a long career of service, as a prosecutor, public defender, & attorney for the U.S. Navy.
Conlogue was born in Morenci, & has lived in Southern Az. most of his life. He attended undergraduate school at A.S.U., & earned his master's degree in public administration from the University of Arizona, where he also attended law school. Conlogue's experience is diverse: he's practiced civil, criminal, probate & family law, & has worked as a Judge Pro Tempore for more than a decade. He's also involved in his local community, where he's been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista & the local Boys & Girls Club, & participates in high school "mock trial" programs.
Conlogue is scheduled to assume his new post on Jan. 2nd, 2007.
