"Operation Road Rescue"

Cobre Valley Community Hospital announced that it will provide safe rides during this coming New Years Eve. The program, “Operation Road Rescue” is sponsored by the Positive Attitudes Create Teamwork (PACT) Committee at CVCH. The Committee & staff members from CVCH will be available from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. on Dec. 31st/Jan. 1st to provide safe transportation home to individuals that might have had a little too much holiday cheer. The staff volunteers their time, gas, & automobile to offer this community service. This is their 5th year operating “Operation Road Rescue”.

"Operation Road Rescue" will be available to anyone within the city limits of Miami, Claypool, & Globe. A team of 2 CVCH staff members will pick-up party goers at a private party or bar within the tri-city limits & take them home. When the individual(s) are picked-up, they will be asked for their car keys. CVCH staff will take the keys back to the CVCH Emergency Room for holding until the following day. People will be able to collect their keys after 12 noon on Jan. 1st, at the Emergency Room. On New Years Eve, if you find yourself under the influence & not able to drive call Operation Road Rescue at 402-1212.
