NRCS Applications Still Being Accepted
Farmers, ranchers, & other private landowners can apply for financial & technical help from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Applications are being accepted for 3 different programs that benefit agricultural land, wetlands, & wildlife habitat. NRCS is accepting applications for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program, & Wetlands Reserve Program programs for 2007.
All 3 of these programs may provide up to 75% of the costs for appropriate projects, & limited resources agricultural producers could receive up to 90%.
