CVCH Relay For Life Team To Raffle A Quilt

The CVCH Relay for Life Team is raffling a quilt to raise funds for the upcoming "Relay for Life" event in May 2007. The quilt is designed & sewn by Donna Williams, Human Resource Assistant, at CVCH. Donna found a new fabric pattern designed by the artist Loralie titled "On the Mend" which is a tribute to breast cancer patients. Donna was able to get a portion of the cost of the material donated by Quilters Desert Patch in Sahuarita near Tucson. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. The money raised from the quilt's raffle will be applied to the Walk for Life team's total fund raiser stated Linda Salcido, Business Office Manager at CVCH, & the hospital's Relay for Life Team Leader. Linda went on to say that anyone can join the hospital team & participate in the Relay for Life. The Relay for Life is an American Cancer Society event to celebrate survivorship, money for research & programs. The next event is on May 18th, 2007.
