Science Foundation Luncheon

Dr. William C. Harris, President & CEO of the Science Foundation Arizona, will be the featured speaker at a special luncheon on Fri., Dec. 8th. The event begins at the Pinal Mountain Elks Lodge at 11:30 a.m. with an informal meet & greet session, following with a sponsored luncheon at noon featuring remarks by Dr. Harris, followed with a question & answer session.

Dr. Harris served with Science Foundation Ireland for nearly 5 years & in that time saw Ireland become an internationally collaborative partner with multiple bio-tech, academic-industry research groups & a knowledge driven economy.

The community is invited to attend this luncheon to gain an insight into how Gila County can take advantage of the opportunities for greater economic prosperity through advancements in education. The event is sponsored by the Gila Co. Board of Supervisors, Globe-Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Corporation & Gila Co. Community College.
