Phoenix Capitol Complex To Be Half-Staff

Gov. Janet Napolitano has ordered all flags in the Phoenix Capitol Complex to be lowered to half-staff between sunrise & sunset today in honor of former Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, Jeff Groscost.

“I am saddened by the death of Mr. Groscost, & my thoughts are with his family & loved ones,” the Governor said about the former Speaker. “During the time I knew him, he was exceedingly cordial & respectful, & worked passionately on the issues that were important to him, to his state & to his community.”

Jeff Groscost was 45 years old. Services for the former Speaker will be held today.
