Poetry Forum

Gila Community College (GCC) will be hosting a 2nd Poetry Forum at the Gila Pueblo Campus this Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The forum is offered as an opportunity for poets & other artists to share their work with others.

The mission of the GCC Poetry Forum is to demonstrate the relevance & centrality of poetry to the general public through the oral presentation of poetry. The purpose also is to introduce & develop an appreciation of poetry in elementary, junior & senior high school students.

Mr. Neely is coordinating the event with the college. All poets are welcome to take the stage. The public is invited. There is no admission. This effort is to establish performing arts at Gila Community College. It will be an evening of expression & an opportunity to meet friends & neighbors who appreciate poetry.
