Apache Junction Household Hazardous Waste Event

Supervisor Sandie Smith is pleased to announce a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event for residents of Apache Junction on Sat., Oct. 14th. The HHW event collection site will be the Apache Junction City Yard at 575 E. Baseline Ave from 8 am until 12 noon.

"This is a terrific opportunity for people to take care of hazardous items at no cost," Supervisor Smith said. "The Board is pleased to provide this service for our residents."

Acceptable items include:
Oil (no container bigger than 5 gallons)Paint
Anti Freeze
Tires
Batteries
Recyclables (cardboard, plastic bottles, newspaper, metal cans)
White goods

Items not accepted:
Tractor Tires
55 Gallon drums
Pool chemicals
