Navajo Nation Gets Blood Alcohol Testing Equip.

U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi (AZ-01) announced that the Navajo Nation has received a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Justice to purchase updated Breath Alcohol Testing Equipment, helping to reduce traffic-related fatalities, injuries, & property damage on the reservation. The $98,000 grant will also provide K-9 dogs to deter drug trafficking in the remote areas of the Navajo Nation. The funding, which Congressman Renzi secured last year was throught the Science, State, Justice, Commerce, & Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2006.
