Ellen Simon To Vote Early
Congressional candidate Ellen Simon announced that she'll take a short break from her barnstorming tour through the 1st Congressional district to cast her early vote on Thurs., Sept. 7th at 10:30 a.m. Simon will vote at the early voting station located at 10 South 6th Street in Cottonwood.
Looking ahead to voting tomorrow, Simon stated: “I am looking forward to casting my vote early. Early voting is an important option for many of our district’s residents, including residents with special needs, the elderly, & voters in rural areas who may not be able to get to the polls on Sept. 12th.”
Simon continued, “I hope that everyone gets out & votes in this crucial election for our district & nation. We are very confident that there will be a strong turnout on Tuesday. Throughout my trip across this district, I have heard from residents about the need to take back Congress, the need to put an end to the era of corruption in Washington, & the failure of this administration, Rick Renzi, & the Republican Congress to make our country safer, more secure, & fiscally responsible.”
The daughter of Holocaust survivors, Simon has had 1 of the most distinguished & successful careers in the U.S. Simon has devoted her life to fighting for the rights of people who illegally lost their jobs & benefits because of age, disability, race, or gender. She has fought for the rights of those who were fired for having cancer, & for seniors who suffered abuse in nursing homes. Simon's campaign centers on improving public security, public health, & public integrity. "We need to restore integrity & accountability in Washington, D.C. that will make our communities stronger & our nation more secure," Simon said.
