DOD Office Of Economic Adjustment Grant

Maximizing land-use while protecting Arizona's military installations & their important missions is the continued focus of the newest Department of Defense (DOD) grant awarded to The Arizona Department of Commerce. The DOD Office of Economic Adjustment grant award of$129,000 will fund the Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) for Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista.

This JLUS is part of the Arizona Military Regional Compatibility Project, which was conceived as a proactive statewide endeavor to convene the stakeholders around installations - the relevant jurisdictions, base personnel, landowners, & other interested parties- to address land use compatibility issues & potential solutions.
