Claypool Cleanup

Globe Clean & Beautiful is planning a huge cleanup day on Sat., Sept. 23rd, in the Claypool area. A planning meeting of the committee is planned for 3 p.m. Wed., Sept. 20th, at Globe City Hall. All interested persons are invited to attend.

Volunteers are eagerly welcomed for Saturday’s cleanup, which will coordinate from the LDS Church in Claypool, beginning at 7 a.m. Doughnuts will start out the day & pizza & burros are planned for lunch, & volunteers will certainly earn their way as more than 100 tons of trash need to be picked up & hauled away. Several dump trucks & front end loaders will be on site to help with the cleanup.

If you would like to give a small donation or cook something & drop it off or if you can organize some additional volunteers, it will be a great help.

Volunteers should bring work gloves. Anyone with a pickup truck who is willing to drive the route & help haul the collected trash will be much appreciated as well.
