SRP To Sponsor “Free Thursdays” At Mesa Arts Center

Mesa Contemporary Arts at Mesa Arts Center is proud to announce that the Salt River Project (SRP) will sponsor “Free Thursdays” beginning in September. Salt River Project has contributed $15,000 to the Mesa Arts Center Foundation for sponsorship of the Mesa Contemporary Arts Free Thursdays, offering the public free access to its facilities every Thursday.

"It is with great pleasure that SRP assists in strengthening the arts in the East Valley while offering cultural opportunities to its residents,” said Rusty Foley, SRP Manager of Corporate Affairs. SRP's sponsorship will allow the arts center reach out to a community that may be unfamiliar with contemporary arts.

Mesa Contemporary Arts Free Thursdays will continue beginning September 7th, 2006. In 2004, SRP made a capital commitment of $75,000 payable over 5 years to the construction of the new Mesa Arts Center.
