Pinal County Road Closure Update

The following roadways are currently closed due to flooding, storm damages or construction as of Friday, August 25th:

Coolidge area
1. Christensen Road from Highway 287 north of the Gila River
2. McCartney Road from Weaver Road to Overfield Road
3. Overfield Road from Woodruff Road to Kleck Road

Dudleyville area
4. Aravaipa Road from Highway 77 to end of road
5. San Pedro Road at the San Pedro River

Mammoth area
6. Bluebird Crossing at River Road

Maricopa area
7. White Road at Teel Road intersections

Queen Creek area
8. Schnepf Road Bridge between Combs & Ocotillo Roads

Queen Valley area
9. Hewitt Station Road from Queen Valley Road to Highway 60

Red Rock area
10. Baumgartner Road from Hollis Road to Wheeler Road
11. Park Link Drive from the I-10 frontage road to Cattle Tank Road

San Manuel area
12. River Road at Redington Road

The following series are current detour & construction alerts:

* McCartney & Overfield Roads are now open to thru traffic. Temporary traffic control is in place providing a temporary work zone allowing the contractor to complete construction. Remaining items of work include constructing headwalls on the end of storm drain pipe, shoulder work & final cleanup.Construction completion date is estimated to be September 1st, 2006. Motorists are advised to drive with caution & obey all regulatory signs.
