Pinal Co. Elections Dept Needs Poll Workers

The Pinal Co. Elections Dept. is in need of poll workers for the upcoming Primary & General Elections this year. Poll workers can earn up to $200 to work the day of the election. There is a training class involved in which attendees are paid $50 plus mileage as compensation for their time. High School students 16 to 17 years of age or older can also work the polls for this election provided they get both school & parental permission. It would be a great learning tool for the students to understand how the electoral process works.

The Primary election is on Tues., Sept. 12th. The General Election is Tues., Nov. 7th. For more info on being a poll worker give a call to Irma Waskom at 1-800-208-6897 ext. 7554 or 520-866-7554.
