New Northern Gila Co Central Az Big Brother-Big Sister Director
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona (BBBSAZ) welcomes Robert Henley as director of program for the youth mentoring organization’s Northern Gila County office.
Henley spent almost 30 years working in computer systems & high-technology markets in technical, sales, sales management & executive roles. He also served on the Payson Town Council from June 2002 to May 2006.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the children in Northern Gila County. The program is small at this point, but the need is there, & that will allow matches to grow quickly”, said Henley. “The local advisory board is dedicated & held a very successful fundraiser with the local Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. We will build upon that success & awareness in order to expand our program.”
Henley also serves on the Payson Area Habitat for Humanity board of directors & is president of Cre8tive Marketing, LLC, a marketing services company based in Payson.
Henley is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in management science & obtained a master of business administration from the University of Denver. His wife Ann & he have 2 daughters & 4 grandchildren.
