McCartney-Overfield Road Construction

The intersection of McCartney & Overfield Roads will be temporarily closed until the roadway construction is determined safe for thru traffic. Road closures are in effect on McCartney Road from Weaver Road to east of Overfield Road & Overfield Road from south of Woodruff Road to north of Kleck Road until construction is substantially complete. Construction completion is anticipated to occur during the week of Aug. 28th, 2006.

Traffic from Casa Grande to Central Arizona College is being rerouted eastbound on McCartney Road, to northbound Cox Road, & eastbound on Woodruff Road to Central Arizona College until the roadways are reopened to thru traffic.

The McCartney-Overfield intersection improvement project consists of removing & replacing the existing pavement to add left turn lanes on all 4 legs of the intersection with a right turn lane for southbound Overfield Road.
