Horseshoe Dam Road Re-Opens

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has re-opened the road to Horseshoe Dam. The roadway was closed several days ago when heavy rains washed caused extensive damage.

The road to Bartlett Dam was also closed but crews were able to get it open early last week. Crews are still working along the shoulders & guardrails there, & motorists should be aware of traffic control signs & barricades. As in any flooded roadway event, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation urges motorists, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown!”
