Goodell Gets The Job

Roger Goodell will take over as NFL Commissioner on Sept. 7th, for his 5-year term. Goodell was Tagliabue's top assistant on expansion & stadium construction & was the contact man with union head Gene Upshaw during recent labor talks. In 2001, he became the NFL's chief operating officer.
