GCC Selects Goad As Hayden-Winkelman Instructor

Gila Community College announces that James “Ronnie” Goad has been chosen as the Welding Technology instructor to serve the Hayden/Winkelman area. Welding Technology will be taught in the Hayden High School welding laboratory. Classes will be taught on Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm. The fall semester offering features WLD108 Oxyacetylene Welding & Metal Fabrication & WLD111 Arc Welding. Students may register by calling (928) 425-8481. Be sure to reserve your seat for the class.

James “Ronnie” Goad brings vast applicable experience to the adult learners in the Hayden/Winkelman area. He completed his journeyman training as a boiler maker in 1980 & has been employed by ASARCO since 1990. Goad is a life-long resident of Arizona & he lives in Dudleyville with his wife Sandra, 3 children, & 6 grandchildren. Goad notes, “These course offerings are a great opportunity for those wishing to develop welding skills for the first time or for those who need to brush up on skills.”
