Ceremony To Mark Completion Of US 60 Improvements

The public is invited to join state & local officials at 10 a.m. on Aug. 16th, at the Miami Town Park to celebrate the completion of the US 60 construction project at the park.

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) significantly improved the US 60 the park adjacent to US 60. Work on the project began in June with construction crews adding a new parallel parking area, sidewalk, 2 ramadas, landscaping, fencing, pedestrian lighting & signage.

Miami Town Park is an important part of the community. The improvements allow residents better, safer access to the park & its amenities,” said Richard Powers, ADOT Globe District Engineer.

DJ’s Companies of Globe was the general contractor on the $193,000 project.
