Currently, the Gila River Flas Flood situation is being monitored by proper authorities. If it becomes necessary to evacuate, you will be notified, especially those who live in low lying areas. This is a result of water having risen 2 feet at the Elgo Dam Upstream of the Town of San Carlos. A Significant amount of debris was reported in the lake behind Elgo Dam. The concern is that this debris may get caught in the spillway of the Elgo Dam. This is the cause for the Flash Flood warning. It would be wise to get loved ones or eldery persons in the area out of there & to your home as a precautionary measure.
