2nd Annual Bisbee Blues Festival
The Blues are back in Bisbee! The Bisbee Arts Commission is planning the 2nd Annual Bisbee Blues Festival. The event will take place on Sat., Sept. 23rd, in Bisbee's historic City Park. A five-band line up will play from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bring your lawnchairs, sun hats & sunscreen!
Starting off the day's music will be Michael P. from Tucson playing from 11 to 12:15. Phoenix based Luther Jackson & the Loose Cannons playing from 12:30 to 1:45 will follow them. Next will be Bisbee's own Buzz & the Soul Senders from 2 to 3:30. The 4th band of the day will be Tucson's George Howard & the Roadhouse Hounds from 3:45 to 5:15. The day will be topped off by the Bad News Blues Band from Tucson, playing from 5:30 to 7. Between sets will be acoustic blues by Pat Panther from York, PA.
Ticket prices are $10 in advance & $12 the day of the event. Tickets will be available soon at Atalanta's Music & Books, the Bisbee Chamber of Commerce & the Bisbee Visitor Center, all in Old Bisbee. Tickets will also be available online at bisbeebluesfestival.com. Food & beverages will be available at the event as well as commemorative festival t-shirts, hats & posters.
