Why Does The U.S. Government & The FCC Hate WW2 Vets?

Ken Burns new seven part series titled "The War," has the language used by servicemen & others during World War 2. However, with the U.S. government's crackdown on media's so-called indecency, backed by the religious reich, will hamper veterans from sharing their stories. As a result of a new law signed last month by President George W. Bush, stations would be fined $325,000 per violation, 10 times the original amount. The FCC has violated it's original intent & they have long overstepped their bounds. On their "About The FCC" page this is what it says: "The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government agency, directly responsible to Congress. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable." Now look at their actions in recent years, & try to tell me they have not gone too far. They are now combing through old sports footage with people in the crowd to listen for any swearing in the background. That is insane. They have frozen anything doing with technical upgrades for the radio & television industries. It's clear to me that when on a television show that's played after school, a discussion in graphic detail is not fined but a fart joke is.



If you don't like it, complain to the individuals who have majority control in the Government & to the individual that appointed these tools to the board of insanity. In other words, FUCK THE FCC!!!
