Substitute Teacher Slain In Tucson

Norma Jean Jay, 59, was found killed in her mobile home in Three Points in the 11400 block of South Cherokee Lane. It is unconfirmed if the fire started on the outside of the the mobile home was started to cover-up the crime, however, the fire never reached the inside of the trailor. A neighbor reportedly saw the fire & used their garden hose to try to extinguish the flames. Upon the extinguishing of the fire by responding firefighters, deputies went into the home & discovered Jay's body. Police report this was a very violent death.
