SR 188 Traffic Shift

During this week, traffic will be shifted from one side of the roadway to the other while ADOT & its Contractor place the final lift of asphalt concrete along the project’s lanes. This paving operation is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting. Until scheduled completion of the project in mid August, motorists should anticipate intermittent traffic control changes throughout the project. This will allow the contractor to complete sealing of the pavement, striping, barrier removal & the other operations. Scheduled construction hours are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the above schedule is subject to change.
