Napolitano Heads To Sedona
Governor Napolitano is heading north Tomorrow to attend one of Sedona’s signature events & to spend some time in the “Most Beautiful Place in America.”
The Governor will be joined by Arizona Office of Tourism Director Margie A. Emmermann for an evening in Sedona, which will culminate with a screening of “The Compleat Works of Wllm Shskpr (abridged) at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. The play is part of Shakespeare Sedona, Northern Arizona’s premiere classical theatre.
“Sedona is truly one of Arizona’s treasures & I look forward to heading to Northern Arizona to see firsthand that the Brins Fire did nothing to shake the resolution of the amazing people of Sedona or alter the incredible beauty of this destination,” said Governor Napolitano.
Most of the Coconino National Forest Red Rock Ranger District will re-open at 8 a.m. tomorrow. The majority of Sedona’s trails will be open & Grasshopper Day Use Area & Slide Rock State Park will be open. Sedona & all of Northern Arizona remain open for business & are eagerly welcoming tourists to the cooler temperatures & unrivaled scenic beauty. Visitors can choose from a wide variety of hiking trails & activities, whether they are looking for that outdoor adventure, a delectable one-of-a-kind dining experience or a signature piece from one of Sedona’s many art galleries.

Shakespeare Sedona takes place tonight, & Friday & Saturday nights at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village through July 15th, 2006.
