Sheriff's Office Payson District from 7/10/06 to 7/16/06; 277 calls responded to, 6 adults arrested, 81 property crimes, 75 crimes against persons, 1 thirty day impound, 27 booked into the Payson jail, 7 transports during this reporting period, 19 inmates incarcerated at the Payson facility, & 26 inmates housed at the Globe facility for the Payson jail.

Everything Else:

Juveniles caught drag racing.

Male subject was stabbed & had chest wounds on Hill St.

Gilbert E. Villegas was cited for Driving Suspended.

Theft of a red and black portable camp grill & a Husky socket and ratchet tool set in the Bonita Creek area.

A Honda ATC 3-wheeler reported stolen from a residence on Miller in Pine.

Tonto Rim Search & Rescue responded Fossil Springs Trailhead to search for a 13 year old boy scout who had gotten seperated from his group. The child was found upon their arrival. Search & Rescue assisted the troop up the trail & to the parking lot.

ATV accident on the Fossil Creek Road in Strawberry. The 2 on the quad wrecked, went over a cliff & fell approx., 20'. The ATV fell approx., 1,000'. Bruce Lavern Durgan, 52, escaped with minor injury & was cited & arrested for driving under the influence & operating an unregistered & uninsured vehicle. The passenger was flown to Good Samaritan with unknown head trauma.

A purse with 2 checkbooks & a credit card were stolen from the Mesa del Caballero area.

A vehicle in the Verde Creek area was broken into & a wallet was stolen.
