College Courses Return To Tonto Basin

Based upon community requests, Gila Community College & Tonto Basin leaders have agreed to bring college courses back to the Tonto Basin area. Arrangements are being made to offer basic computer classes at the Tonto Basin Elementary School. The college will also build upon last year’s successes made possible by Kiwanis support of Al Adams & the Loralco Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program. GCC will offer HVAC/R courses with Al Adams as lead instructor beginning the week of August 21st.

Potential students interested in signing up for classes or looking for financial aid are invited to attend an orientation on August 8th, 6 p.m. at the Kiwanis building in Punkin Center. Representatives of GCC will assist you with registration & share financial aid opportunities.
