Arizona Shakespeare Festival

Now in its ninth year of delighting audiences, the Arizona Shakespeare Festival returns to the
Ruth Street Theater, 1050 N. Ruth Street, weekends July 28 - August 13. First up, Artistic Director Kelly Johnston takes advantage of the state-of-the-art Ruth Street Theater to bring us the dark political thriller, "Julius Caesar," in a bold, multimedia production set in Italy of the 1930s. Then, buckle your six-guns, throw on your Stetson, and prepare to laugh your spurs loose as director Jean Lippincott brings us a rootin', tootin', shootin' version of "The Taming of the Shrew," set in Prescott of 1887. Opening Night Gala hosted by "N'awlins," July 28th, immediately after the performance. Festival tickets are available at all Arizona Fry's stores.
