Another Medicare/Medicaid Scam

A new scam has been reported in the area, with elderly persons being targeted. The caller represents himself as being with Medicare/Medicaid. He tells people that they have to provide him with personal information so that he can make needed changes in their medicare program. He asks for dates of birth, Social Security Numbers, & even checking account numbers. He also threatens people they will be sued if they don't provide the information to him, or they will be sued if they hang up on him. Everyone is reminded not to give personal information of this nature over the phone.
