Weekly Crime Wrap-up Report
Gila Co. Sheriff's Office Payson District from 6/12/06 to 6/18/06; 290 calls responded to, 10 adults arrested, 85 property crimes, 91 crimes against persons, & 1 thirty day impound.
June 23rd; A male German Shepherd in the Veterans Park & Cedar St., & is awaiting for its owner at the shelter.
June 22nd; Gila Co. Deputies took a report of a motorized bicycle stolen off of Central Dr.
June 22nd; Gila Co. Deputies responded to a call reporting a stolen vehicle from Cherry Flats Road.
June 22nd; Globe PD & Globe EMS responded to a residence on Hackney Ave, in reference to an elderly deceased male subject, apparently dead from natural causes.
June 21st; Globe PD found a black poodle running loose in the area of Cedar & East streets. The animal is housed at the shelter until the owner comes to claim it.
June 21st; Globe PD responded to a business on N, Devereaux St. in reference to a report of a broken window. The business was burglarized & the case remains under investigation.
June 20th; Globe PD took reports of two seperate bike thefts; the 1st was stolen from the Globe Christian Center, & the 2nd was reported stole from "The Point" on East Maple. At this time there is no known connection between the two.
