Trails & Open Space Plan Meetings

The Pinal County Planning & Development Department has begun work on an Open Space & Trails project. The goal of the Open Space & Trails project is to create a County Open Space and Trails Master Plan, develop Recreation design manuals for County Parks & Trails, & to prepare a Pinal Comprehensive Plan amendment to include an Open Space & Recreation Element.

The process will start with public meetings where County residents will be able to comment & offer input into the plan. Public input during this process is crucial to the success of this project. The public meetings scheduled at this time are:

In Apache Junction on Tuesday June 27, 2006 at 5:30 pm, in the Pinal County Complex, 575 N Idaho Road Suite 200, in Apache Junction.

In Oracle on Wednesday June 28, 2006 at 5:30 pm in the County JP Building, 1470 Justice Drive, in Oracle.

In Coolidge on Thursday June 29, 2006 at 5:30 pm in the Central Arizona College Room M101, at 8470 N Overfield, in Coolidge.

All county residents are encouraged to attend.
