Although he's signed to a multi-year contract with Hendrick through '09, Brian Vickers is looking for different opportunities in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Vickers has been granted permission from Hendrick to look for a different ride for '07. With the current driver shortage currently in NASCAR, Vickers could possibly take up the open seat at Robert Yates Racing or at 1 of the many open seats with Toyota.
