Highway 260 Closed

This is due to a tanker that rolled over on Highway 260 (1 mile east of the Kohl's Ranch turn-off) & is on fire. Local fire agencies on scene are going to let the tanker fuel burn itself out. Kohl's Canyon & Tontozona have been evacuated as precautionary measure. The girls attending the Baptist Camp have been moved to the Tyler Parkway Area, Mariano Gonzalez, Deputy Director, Emergency Management is unsure of the exact location but will let us know, (KRDE 94.1 FM) as soon as he does. Agencies are asking travelers to avoid Highway 260 east of Payson until the incident is cleared, since, there's no estimated time on how long the road will be closed.
