Gila County DUI Checkpoint Results

The results are in from the DUI checkpoint on SR 188 by Roosevelt Lake. On May 27th, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., a total of 227 vehicles were stopped & 2 drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Six subjects were released after successfully completing field sobriety tests. Similar checkpoints, along with saturation patrols, are planned for future months in various Gila Co. locations.
