Crisis Averted

An 18-wheeler hauling 11 tons of ammonia nitrate, along with 8 cases of dynamite & numerous blasting caps caught fire early this morning on Loop 202. Due to fast response by emergency personnel & the call from another employee that was following the truck, the fire, caused by a short in a light, was put out rapidly. Estimates are that due to the high amount of explosives, the truck, if it had not been taken care of so quickly would have caused massive devastation for a 1 mile radius. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
