Bear Sightings

The Gila Co. Sheriff's Office is advising, there have been several bear sightings in the Globe area. If you see a bear use extreme caution & avoid it at all cost. Please note that per the Game & Fish Dept., unless the bear is attacking or acting in an aggressive manor they will not respond. The most recent black bear was yesterday in the area of Franklin & Central Avenues. Game & Fish safely caught the bear & transported it to another location for release.
