Az. Virtual Academy Parent Information Sessions
Arizona Virtual Academy Hosting Parent Information Sessions are an excellent opportunity for parents to learn about this exciting & innovative public school this summer, the Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA) is hosting a series of parent information sessions across the state. Families attending the sessions will learn more about the school, view the curriculum, books & materials, witness a demonstration of the academic program, & find out how their child can enroll in the tuition-free public school for the 2006-2007 year. AZVA teachers &/or administrators will be there to answer questions about the school. All sessions are free & open to the public.

The Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA) is public school program that is serving more than 1,500 Arizona students in kindergarten through 9th grade. The Arizona Virtual Academy offers families an innovative public education option that includes a rigorous & comprehensive curriculum in 6 traditional subjects. In AZVA, students work at home with a parent or responsible adult & receive instruction & guidance from certified public school teachers who operate remotely. Students who enroll in AZVA receive a computer, monitor, printer, access to the K12 Online School, lessons, assessments, books, materials, planning and progress tools, & much more.
Since AZVA is a public school, it is tuition-free for residents of Arizona. AZVA provides a unique education opportunity where parents play an active role in their child's education, where each child receives the tools, attention, & resources to ensure they are receiving the highest quality education.
