Arizona Motorcycle Crashes In 2004
Due to the actions of Ben Roethlisberger's non-helmet wearing accident, the Brain Injury Association of Arizona, reported there were 2,600+ motorcycle crashes in Arizona in 2004, with 109 of those being fatalities, that's a 9% increase from 2003. The incidence of motorcycle crashes in the U.S. has been increasing in recent years as the percentage of riders wearing helmets has fallen from 71% to 58% nationally. Arizona is one of the states without a mandatory helmet law.
