Ongoing AMBER Alert

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is looking for Skyland Childress. The event occured at 2011 Wrangler's Way, in Cottonwood, May 17th at 3:15PM.

Law Enforcement & CPS went to the Cottonwood address to remove the child from Foster Placement due to allegations of child abuse. While talking with Foster Mother at the front door, 17-year-old son of Foster Mother left on foot with the child.

Victim 1: Skyland Childress is described as being a 3 year old white female, light brown hair, 3'0, 47lbs., slim build, light brown straight hair hanging to the top of shoulders. Wearing: No clothing description.

Suspect 1: Corey Sgarlata is described as being a 17 year old male, white with sandy brown hair, & brown eyes, weighs aprox., 160lbs., sandy brown hair approximately 1/2" long (buzz cut), no facial hair. Wearing: a white tank top & creme-colored long shorts
